While mastering swing mechanics is crucial, your ideal swing also requires a balanced and strong body. A custom-designed workout regimen from a trainer at Drive495 will be carefully modeled to improve your golf game, your body and your endurance. We will help you achieve your most ambitious goals, ensuring that you quickly go from repetition to transformation.

Golf and Fitness

While biomechanics are critical to your ideal swing, they are often hindered by your body's imblanace or lack of strength. The general concept behind our Golf / Fitness training is the same concept upon which Drive495 is founded: stronger body, better game. Using a variety of exercises, your trainer will balance the muscles that become unbalanced from your golf swing and daily routine, increase strength in muslces that are required for greater power, and stretch muscles that have tightened are inhibit your full range of motion. With proper training, you'll shed years off your body, and strokes off your game.

Weight Loss

For those looking to lose weight, Drive495 offers the facilities and the instructors to succeed. Our success stories are staggering - countless members have reinvented their bodies with dedication that they've found only at Drive495. Strength Training

Drive495 has the equipment and the trainers to propel heavy lifters forward. Our trainers focus on stacking your muslces while keeping them limber, and avoiding personal injury. It's responsible body building with profound results.

Budokkon

Budokon is an integration of the Yogic, Martial and Living Arts into one holistic mind-body-spirit system. Techniques are designed to explore the body's full range of motion. The practice balances training in agility, control, speed, and power and is divided into two themes: The Budokon Yogic Series, and the Budo Series. Both themes constantly draw from (and depend on) each other. The Budokon Yogic series was heavily influenced by Iyangar and Ashtanga yogic techniques and alignments. The focus is on control, calm, power and precision. The Budokon Budo series is a combination of standing and ground techniques drawn primarily from Okinawan Karate, Gracie jiu-jitsu, and Olympic style Taekwondo.

Kettlebell Training

Through a workout designed with kettlebells (bowling-ball-shaped iron balls with handles attached to them), you will strengthen your stabilizing muscles and increase your range of motion over traditional forms of training. While kettlebells allow standard weight-training exercises such as bench presses, curls, and rows, the unique value of kettlebells is derived from fast exercise work such as snatches, swings, cleans, and jerks. When done in high repitition, these exercises give you increased muscular endurance and allow you to shed weight quickly. Kettlebell training can be (and often is) integrated into other types of training at Drive495. Clients with injuries will often do work with kettlebwlls, as they are frequently used by chiropractors for rehabilitation.
